May 17, 2008: We do not take new signups anymore. We've had enough.

When we were creating Good-Host as a part of IT7 Network, our goal was to provide the best free hosting available on the web. We did not aim for a big buck, we just wanted to deliver quality service to webmasters who run their own websites and blogs. We offered the best technology possible; the only difference between our service and a paid account at the premium webhost was our family-friendly ad.

It turned out that most people do not need that.

Unfortunately, a very high percentage of people who sign up here are criminals who use our web servers for spamming, fishing websites, fraud and so on. We have developed a monstrous system that monitors all created accounts so that we can remove such websites promptly. However, last months we've noticed that the percentage of such signups has risen to a point where all of this becomes nonsense. One good website out of hundreds signups... Sorry, but we just do not get it.

Therefore we decided to stop this. We may reopen new signups at a later time when we rethink the concept, but at this time we are not sure when (and if) this is going to happen.

All existing customers will continue to enjoy our service.
